Call to Visual Artists
Limmud Ottawa 2016 will be holding its seventh annual festival of Jewish learning and culture on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at the Soloway Jewish Community Centre. Limmud Ottawa is part of a world-wide organization, volunteer-run and inspired, respects diversity, and is committed to creating an inclusive environment open to anyone interested in Jewish learning. As in the past, we will be presenting original artwork by local visual artists. We are hoping to exhibit a range of styles and media including oils, acrylics, watercolour, pastels, drawing, mixed media, ceramics, sculpture, metal art, fiber art, photography, etc. Space for exhibiting artwork at the Soloway Jewish Community Centre is limited. If you are interested in participating in this exciting opportunity, please e-mail 2-3 jpeg images of your artwork to JewishArtistsGuild@gmail.com, including your name, title of work, size and medium, no later than Friday, November 11 before sundown. If you know of other Jewish artists that are not registered with the Jewish Artists Guild, please let them know of this opportunity.
There is a registration fee of $25, which includes admission to all Limmud events.
