Book Launch with Gladys Zarecki
Gladys Zarecki has taught in private and public schools for over 30 years. She integrates her teaching of the Holocaust with other subjects, such as drama, literature, character education, visual arts, and social studies. This year, she has published an inspiring book which her grade two students illustrated called Hidden in the Warsaw Zoo- a true story highlighting the heroism of the Polish righteous gentiles: Jan and Antonina Zabinski during WWII.
