Lorne Cutler is a consultant focused on providing services to the private, public and NGO sectors in the areas of finance, international trade development and public policy as well as financial coaching/mentoring for individuals. As part of his consulting practice, Lorne has become involved in the area of Social Finance and Impact Investing and has provided extensive support to the Ottawa Community Loan Fund in this regard and has supported such agencies as Heartwood House and Abbeyfield Houses Society of Ottawa.
Lorne is a 30 year resident of Ottawa and has been involved with the Ottawa Jewish Community over the years, particularly with Jewish Family Services of Ottawa. Lorne is also extensively involved in his community as president of his local community association and as treasurer of the Federation of Citizens’ Associations of Ottawa and as a volunteer with Invest Ottawa.
Mr. Cutler is a Professional Engineer with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto. He received his MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University where he majored in finance and international business.
