Learn in an hour how to sew crazy squares that would be then be sewn together to make a baby quilt top. Learn about the Baby Quilt Project which has been making and sending baby quilts to Israel since 2008. If you wish to bring your own working sewing machine, ensure that you have threads and bobbins ready to go. Other materials will be supplied.

Merle Haltrecht-Matte, retired teacher, is a long time volunteer with Temple Israel and in 2008 initiated the Baby Quilt Project which has been making and sending baby quilts to Israel ever since. To date, close to 1000 have been sent to daycare centres, agencies, families, and hospitals!
