Great way to feel truly part of Limmud Ottawa is to volunteer. Every contribution both small and large is worthwhile. Without our volunteers, Limmud simply wouldn’t happen.
For short term, event-specific volunteering:
We need volunteers to greet and meet, give directions, handing out programs, schlepping chairs, helping out with lunch or taking over a shift at the registration table. Let us know if you can spare an hour during the event.
For ongoing, organizational volunteering:
Think about participating on the various Limmud teams…
- Marketing Team by helping with communications/PR, maintenance of social media accounts & the website, handbook/brochure design and printing.
- Logistics Team by helping with the venue search & liaison, coordinating technology/IT & refreshments, registration, handbook/brochure content & participant care, day-of support * for our annual event.
- Programming Team by helping facilitate the open call, presenter outreach, evaluating applications for adult/youth/children’s programming, handbook or brochure content & presenter support.
